Snakes with large bellies like something found are not far from residential areas.
Seeing the snake unmoved when he was going to be evicted, the residents ventured to catch him. Nipson, a local resident who caught snakes, said residents had finally released the snake into nature.
“We have come back again. Poor. Moreover, the snake is injured. Although it is frightening but the residents agree to release and want the snake to stay alive freely to be able to breed,” said Nipson,
Nipson said, the python was arrested because residents were curious about the snake’s stomach contents. People are worried, the snake has just preyed on humans.
The villagers then caught and hung the snake with its head under and its tail tied at the people’s house. After waiting so long, Nipson continued, residents knew that the snake’s stomach contents were a wild boar.
“People are afraid in the stomach of a human snake so they are arrested. Knowing pigs, we immediately release,” he said. Residents are also worried that the snake will die or it will be dangerous if it is maintained.
“It’s released in the village forest. Hopefully not return to the village,” he said. A video containing residents hanging upside down snakes circulated on social media. The video was recorded in Tanjung Kurung Ilir Village, Tanjung Tebat District, Lahat Regency, South Sumatra, and distributed by the owner of the Nuer Ainie Lestarie account,
. A number of residents in the video were excited to see the large snake not moving and trying to regurgitate its contents. The snake’s mouth keeps gaping when it is hung upside down.
Residents who are sorry and then help the snake release the food that is swallowed. But the snake only stretched and could not remove the food.
Residents, though curious, did not decide to dissect the snake’s stomach. The snake is hung upside down with the head down and its tail tied at the people’s house.
