Police found the boys after receiving information from an anonomist who mentions the presence of a husband and wife who locked their child in a wooden box. The police who came to the family residence did find the children peeking from behind the wooden box boards that were padlocked.
When the police questioned the parents of the two boys, they said they had to lock their two children in a wooden box to keep their work in the fields and the house undisturbed.
“They said they had to lock the two children in a wooden box to keep their work undisturbed,” police chief Captain Sonimarcos said.
“However, the wooden box is so narrow that it is still split in two so that the two boys do not touch each other,” added Sonimarcos. “There’s nothing in the box.
No pillow, no toys, or anything else that would make both boys feel good, “Sonimarcos continued, and the police finally arrested the couple while the twins were handed over to the local social service for treatment.
Although placed in a locked wooden box, police insisted, there was no sign of physical violence on the bodies of the two boys.
