Asia One reported, the eight-year-old boy threatened to jump from the 33rd floor because he did not want to go to school.
Construction workers in the town of Bijie must call the authorities after they see an unidentified boy standing at the end of the 33rd floor.
“I don’t want to go to school!” That’s the boy’s shout. The firefighters who came immediately kept the crowd away so the boy didn’t feel stressed.
Rescuers, parents of the boy, until his school teacher spent 10 minutes persuading him not to commit suicide. The boy’s suicide attempt failed after firefighters wrapped a rope around his body, and took him to a safe place.
The Chna Shanghaiist daily reported, the boy was trembling and then sobbed to the firefighters saying he did not want to go to school.
The case reportedly raises concerns about allegations that the children were depressed while studying at school. Beginning in 2018 at Fuzhou Elementary School, the rescue team foiled a suicide attempt by a girl who jumped from the 15th floor.
The boy survived thanks to the air cushion placed below. He claimed to be depressed because he did not complete the homework that was charged during the winter holiday. Then in Singapore in 2016, an 11-year-old boy jumped from his room on the 17th floor because he was depressed by the school and his parents.
Suicide can occur when someone is depressed and no one is helping. If you have the same problem, don’t give up and decide to end life.
