Photographers Capture the Facial Expression of a Lion's Pairs while Making LoveA row of photographs taken by a photographer shows an attractive expression of two lions who are making love.

The photographer Ingo Gerlach gets some interesting photos of it in the Masai Mara National Park, Kenya, not long ago. In the photographs it is seen that the male lion looks very ferocious when starting to have sex with a female.

However, not infrequently the male lion looks like a grin in the action. Several times, the male lion was seen biting his partner’s back intently, before both of them completed the procession. Later the two lions rested most of the day.

“When they wake up they start again the process of intercourse,” said Gerlach. “Their facial expressions are incredible and show the high level of aggression of these animals,” added the 65-year-old.

Gerlach said he took his car as close as possible to the lion couple to get the best picture. “The lions may be so tired that they do not care about me because in their minds this is the time to reproduce,” Gerlach added.

Gerlach added, the two lions after a rest and then repeat the process of making love every 20 minutes. “This process usually lasts for a week and during that time they do not eat and just drink,” says Gerlach.
