Miley Cyrus Funds For Immigrant Children's Fund in the USSinger-actress Miley Cyrus raised funds to help immigrant children separate from her parents in the United States due to US President Donald Trump’s zero-tolerance policy.

More than 2,300 children have been separated from their families following the implementation of Trump’s controversial zero-tolerance policy.

This policy allows law enforcement agencies to separate minors from their parents and detain them after they illegally cross the Mexican border into the United States.
Trump has signed an executive order to end immigration policies that divide this immigrant family, but there are still many families who have not reunited.

Many celebrities are looking for ways to give their help to this social issue and Cyrus is now joining them by forming a fund raising organization, KIND (Kids in Need of Defense) on Facebook.

Since launching his campaign on Monday (25/6), the singer of Wrecking Ball has raised funds of US $ 32 thousand, from his goal of reaching US $ 35 thousand.
“Happy Hippie and I believe everyone has the right to be next to their family and deserves a safe place called home,” writes the Hannah Montana star on the Facebook account.

“Thousands of immigrant children and their families are running away from the violence that occurred in their home country and want a future where they can be safe and together.”

“Join me in support of KIND, a non-profit organization working to protect the basic rights of children who are not accompanied by their families in the US Funds will be used to provide a legal representation of the family so they can reunite.”
