Compete at the Volgograd Arena on Thursday (28/06/2018), Japan took control of the game on Poland. The Asian representative played with presses and long passes straight into the final third.
Japan’s first new opportunity created in the 12th minute. Shinji Okazaki let go with a header, but the ball went wide from the Polish goal.
A minute later, Japan again threatened the Polish goalkeeper. This time came through Yoshinori Muto shot from outside the penalty box whose direction can be pushed over Lukasz Fabianski.
Poland in a depressed situation so far. Japan again aimed a shot at the Polish goal in the 17th minute. Gotoku Sakai stabbed into the middle, received Takashi Usami sodorant and fired a left-footed shot. But his effort was weak and the ball could be caught by Fabianski.
